I keep on wondering how Hakuei and Kougyoku feel.

Hakuei will definitely feel guilty over the death of Kouen (in my opinion). She was one of his most dedicated supporters of what he was doing. The only reason she helped Sinbad was because she loves Hakuryuu. She wouldn’t have otherwise.

And Kougyoku? She’ll probably feel the worst because she was unknowingly controlled by Sinbad, which made it easier for Hakuryuu’s side to win the war. Even though it is not her fault at all, she’ll most likely blame herself for years. One of her brothers’ is dead, and the other two are exiled. Severe stuff.

Which makes me really sad. Neither of these girls deserved any of that. At all.
